BIO:

Dorothy Hoover is a designer, stylist, and artist working in still photography, motion, theater, and visual and performance art.

Clients include Paper Magazine, Google, Lululemon, What We Do Is Secret, The LA Times, At Large Magazine, and Plenty Foods. She has worked with photographers Chad Pitman, Jennifer Chong, Luke Abby, David Lopez, Linnea Bullion, Lindsay Kreighbaum, Jonathan Bar, and others.

She received her MFA from California Institute of the Arts in Scenic Design in 2012. Her designs for the theater have been seen at Boston Court Theatre, REDCAT, LA Mission College Theatre, and About Productions.

Her visual art has been exhibited at Machine Project, Honor Fraser Gallery, and General Projects, among others. Dorothy also creates functional ceramic pieces under the name Lazzo Ceramico.
